The China Study by T. Colin Campbell and Tomas M. Campbell II: When people ask me how to start a vegan lifestyle, I recommend this book. It has information about how a plant based diet impacts our overall health. It gives insight as to why a plant based diet is best and how it can reverse some diseases based on extensive studies and scientific research. I work in a field that practices solely from information that is evidence based. Yet many physicians are not educated in nutrition. I encourage you to read this book with an open mind and I hope it inspires you to take charge of your health. I am a firm believer that food is medicine.

How To Talk So Kids Will Listen by Adele Faber & Elaine Mazlish: In my opinion, this book is the holy grail for successful parenting. It gives parents ideas on how to cope with children’s feelings and how to resolve conflicts peacefully. Who doesn’t want to do that?
How the Secret Changed My Life by Rhonda: When I first discovered the secret I was amazed to learn how many people were successful using this method. Since applying it to my life, I have seen so much abundance in all aspects of my life. This book is life changing! You can also watch the documentary on Netflix. Be prepared, this is going to transform your life for the better.
You Have 4 Minutes to Change Your Life by Rebekah Borucki: It is scientifically proven that meditation boosts your health and happiness. There’s a plethora of benefits in meditation. This book shows you how to change your life with meditation in just 4 minutes a day.
People Can’t Drive You Crazy If You Don’t Give Them The Keys by Mike Bechtle: The purpose of this book is in the title. This book will help you realize that you can’t change people, but you can change your perspective. The only power people have over you, is the power you give them.
Buddhism For Beginners by Thubten Chodron: Last but certainly not least. This book is great for those interested in Buddhist practice. This book answers questions you may have about buddhism and covers the essence of Buddha’s teachings (such as mindful living).
