Mickey Pretzel
These are so adorable and tasty. My family and I grabbed a few of the salted pretzels and ate it with mustard. We also snagged a few of the cinnamon sugar pretzels, but we devoured them before I could even take a picture lol! You can get these throughout the park, but we love getting ours from the pretzel cart near Big Thunder. That cart has the softest pretzels and the line is quick.
Dole Whip
The infamous Dole Whip can be found at the Tiki Hut in Adventure Land. You can get plain whip or, if you’re feeling adventurous, the float. We got both and both were equally delicious. This was my favorite sweet treat.
Starbucks
I love me some Starbucks. There’s a Starbucks as you enter Main street. I like to order the matcha with soy milk and unsweetened iced teas. Their plain bagels are vegan and taste great with avocado spread. This is a great option for breakfast and it won’t break the bank.
Cotton Candy
It would be cruel to deny your kids the pleasure of eating cotton candy. Just kidding. After your kids eat this, just encourage them to drink water. My daughter doesn’t eat much sweets, but this was her favorite. You can get these throughout the park, but we got ours on Main Street.
Vegan Gumbo
My family and I love New Orleans, so we had to try the vegan gumbo. You can get this beauty at the Royal Street Veranda in the French Quarter. Before we ordered we verified with the chef and it is indeed, vegan. We ordered one bowl and it fed three people. It was such a delicious hearty meal. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the ambience whilst we enjoyed our gumbo.
This is a great option for dinner.
Vegan Pizza
My daughter loves pizza, so we had to get pizza from Pizza Planet in Tomorrowland. When you enter they have ready-made pizzas, pastas and salads. You have to request vegan pizza. The chef came out and took our order and in just minutes we had our personal pizzas. The crust was soft, the cheese was melty, and the sauce had a perfect amount of tang. We also tried the vegan breadsticks, they taste just like the Olive Garden breadsticks. Pizza Planet also has vegan pasta, but we were so full so we skipped it. However, we heard it’s delicious so try it if you can.
There are so many vegan options at the Park. Request it and just ask the chef. Some other vegan options you may enjoy are:
- Chef’s Vegan Burger at the Carnation Cafe
- Vegan burritos, tacos and tostada salad at Rancho Del Zocalo
- Crispy samosa sandwich at the Red Rose Taverne
- Mickey waffles at the Plaza Inn
- Fruit, hummus, pickles — carts located throughout the park
I hope you enjoy your time at Disneyland. TTFN — ta ta for now!
Love always,
Jasmine
