Smoothies are an easy way to get your essential daily intake of fruits and veggies. They’re healthy, versatile, delicious, and packed full of fiber. The other day I realized that I did not have any smoothie recipes on my blog. So I wanted to share three staple smoothie recipes that are my go to.
Main ingredients
These are the main components I use in any smoothie recipe. I then customize them by adding whatever fruits and veggies I feel like having that day.
Bananas – are naturally sweet. I prefer frozen over fresh in a smoothie recipe
Plant milk – I personally love oat milk, but feel free to use any plant based milk. I’ve used soy and almond and they were equally delicious.
Coconut water – If you don’t have coconut water, you can use filtered water
Dates – I love using medjool dates. These are known as natures candy and are the perfect natural sweeteners
Recipes
Today i’ll be sharing a tropical smoothie, a chocolate smoothie, and a green smoothie. I hope you enjoy these recipes and as always if you make them share it on instagram and tag me!
